Last year, my sister-in-law introduced me to these zaatar rolls. They are so simple and easy to make but look beautiful and taste delicious! Zaatar is an herb often used in middle eastern cuisine and sold in a blend with other spices like dried sumac, oregano, thyme, and sesame seeds. It has a characteristic tangy taste that is just *chef’s kiss*.
Whenever this pandemic is behind us and we start getting out again, this will definitely be my first choice as an appetizer to take to a friend’s house to share. I fully expect not a crumb to be left. Enjoy!
